Last week we had our June "Straight Talk" event, where we--uh huh, talk straight:)
We started off with dance lessons with our beautiful Kamite Sensei, to get us all nice and warmed up together. Our boys looked ever so handsome and our ladies like beautiful flowers.
After "grooving" together, we moved on to our topic of friendship by having teams act out a scenario involving a difficult situation you'd find yourself in with a friend and how you would react. Everyone was very creative and left a good feeling that you'd find a unique but great friend in them. We had some stories and video clips, and an activity/discussion where everyone had to make up their perfect friend--from name and age to qualities and flaws. We discovered we each had lots of qualities for friendship right there beside us.

Sounds like you had a good time! Wish I was there! Everyone looks so happy, I guess it's because everyone has such good friends!!
